CBS News anchor Scott Pelley said in a speech given at Quinnipiac University, “journalists are getting big stories wrong, over and over again.”

“Our house is on fire, these have been a bad few months for journalism. We’re getting the big stories wrong, over and over again.”
Wow, epiphany time for CBS News. By the by Scotty boy, you clowns in the infotainment industry have had “it” wrong for a long time. Okay Sherman set the wayback machine to September 11, 2001. The serious wrongevity of ‘big deal’ journalism dates, at least, back to 9/11 and has festered unchecked ever since. The quagmired mistaken mess that is ‘mission creep Afghaniscam’. Iraq War Debacle/Genocide Vol. 2 of which came such stellar highlights as NO freaking weapons of mass destruction. Just so happens that the Bushco cabal of war criminal miscreants KNEW FULL WELL that was a scam. Abu Ghraib and Bagram Airbase. Guantanamo Camp Delta Gulag You Gonna Die Here Oh Yes And This Is Hell. Illegal rendition, illegal detention, and of course torture. Given “legal cover” by team Yoo. Oh Yoo who, can you say war crimes tribunals? You meat brained piece of pig excrement. Off the books budgeting of Bush wars. Welfare for bigtime Pharma. Enron. The assassination of Senator Paul Wellstone. Financial collapse 2008 on account of, they’re just too big to fail. Big stories wrong? Would make better sense to concede that infojournalism can’t get a story straight. Cause and you know Scotty boy, you are no Walter Cronkite.

“Democrazies succeed or fail based on their journalism,” said Pelley. “America is strong because its journajism is strong. That’s how democrazies work. They’re only as good as the quality of the information that the public possesses. And that is where we come in.”
Dear Scotty, allow me to spell it out for you in Amerikan simple: b – a – n – a – l – i – t – y… as in banality. Democrazies succeed or fail based on the participation of people. Regular people that work don’t work get paid don’t get paid and at the end of a day can muster the intestinal fortitude to actually vote in demosarcastically held elections. Ummm, Scotty? Amerika hasn’t had any of that for a long time. Amerika is trapped in one massively corrupt duopoly. Kleptocracy? The media monopoly that guises as ABCBSNBCNNMSNBC hasn’t given Amerika “quality information” for years. You give us pap propaganda ginned up in the bowels of Babylon-On-The-Potomac. How a come CBS hasn’t reported on the FBI scamming dumb ass pseudo-jihadis and entrapping them in pseudo-terrorism plots? That’s not conspiracy theory pal.
Yeah Scotty, you’ve hit the nail square on the head alright and you’re reporting the wrong conclusions with inaccurate details. Simply put, you and your lamestream media cohorts don’t care about giving the Amerikan people the straight story.
