Gutcheck Obama can’t figure out how to butcher Bashar al-Assad and still keep an air of presidential dignity. That’s funny right there boy. Obama and presidential dignity. You’d think that old Gutcheck would have way more important necessities to deal with than al-Assad. Syria is hardly any of Amerika’s business. What the Syrians do or what the Syrians do to one another. Jeepers, does that sound interventionally insensitive?
Amerika is broke and that doesn’t seem to bother old Gutcheck. Pay no attention to what the stock markets seem to be doing at present. That’s a trick so don’t you believe it.
Let us recap just a snidge. Iraq and Saddam Hussein is the bad guy. War ensures and Hussein is a worm farm. Libya and Muammar al-Qaddafi is the bad guy. War and, oh excuse me, “humanitarian intervention” ensues and Muammar al-Qaddafi is a worm farm. Are we seeing a pattern here? Well I’d think so. Hmmm, I wonder if Junior Un is bright enough to smell the coffee. Do they have coffee in North Korea? I concede that I have not a freaking clue. So far al-Assad has been able to hold his ground. Which speaks to the loyalty of his military and that’s about it.
el Presidenté Gutcheck Obama is “conflicted” with the Syrian situation. Part of old Gutcheck is wanting to unleash ‘shock and awe’ all over Damascus. Which does make for some rather dramatic “big breaking news.” On a rather more subtle hand, Obama unleashes ‘shock and awe’ on Syria and he may well have committed the biggest presidential blunder EVER. So big a blunder that Russia AND China just might come a charging into Syria with guns a blazin’. Guess who’d be in those Russian and Chinese crosshairs? Right. Amerikan boots. Fresh from the Afghaniscam grinder and about worn to a quagmired frazzle.
Russia and by extension China, are fresh. Their armies are fresh and fresh as can be militarily freshened. Russia and China have NOT been stuck neck deep in the Afghaniscam getting shot from hell to breakfast. That angle plays large into any notion of a military intervention in Syria. Their war machinery is fresh. Their war machinery supplies and parts and stuff are fresh. Amerika? Well, not so much. Can we all say used and stuck in the Afghaniscam? Don’t believe the hyperbole about Amerika’s “readiness” to get all guns up one more time.
I’m just saying and the punditry will not now nor ever concede my point. Does not matter. Not to me. Should matter to the Amerikans that will surely as the sun rises in the east and will surely die and/or worse in any committment Obama makes, regarding Syria.
It is highly likely that Gutcheck will screw this up royally. Amerikan presidents ALWAYS screw things up royally. Oh wait, I should overlay that. Imperially. Yeah, that’s the ticket.
However, for now our world is modestly safe? Boy, is that a ringing endorsement or what.
